Phones

Helina on your phone

Same portal as the website. Android gets a real app. iPhone can pin it to the home screen today; a store app needs a Mac and an Apple Developer account.

Android

Signed app for Pixel and other Android phones. About 5 MB.

Download Helina 1.0.1
  1. Tap the download button.
  2. If Chrome blocks it, allow installs from Chrome (Install unknown apps).
  3. Install → Open → log in as on the website.

iPhone / iPad

Apple does not let us put an iPhone installer on this website the way we did for Android. Two paths:

Use it now (no Mac, no App Store)

  1. Open helina.fitness in Safari (not Chrome).
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on. That is the full-screen app (no Safari address bar), same idea as Android. Turn it off only if you want a normal Safari bookmark.
  5. Add, then open the Helina icon.

Real App Store app later

  1. You need a Mac with Xcode, and an Apple Developer account ($99/year).
  2. The iOS project is already in fitnessApp/ios on this computer — a WKWebView shell, same idea as Android.
  3. On the Mac: Xcode → New App (SwiftUI, iOS) named Helina, bundle id fitness.helina.app. Replace the default files with HelinaApp.swift and WebPortalView.swift.
  4. Set the display name to Helina, add the apple-touch icon, then Archive → upload to App Store Connect / TestFlight.

Until that ships, Add to Home Screen is the correct iPhone install. Same login, same class days, same updates when the site changes.
